With a rise in fears over the COVID-19 pandemic, the American Resort Development Association Resort Owners’ Coalition (ARDA-ROC) is warning consumers of timeshare exit companies attempting to take advantage of this uncertain time.

ARDA-ROC is a nonprofit entity dedicated to preserving, protecting, and enhancing vacation ownership through smart policy and sensible regulation. The organization warns that consumers should never pay an upfront fee to an unregulated company that claims to be able to get consumers out of their timeshare.
